Yin Yoga
“Discover and benefit from the ancient wonders of Yin Yoga!”
Yin Yoga was founded by Paulie Zink in the 80s and it actually derives from Taoist Yoga. It aims to open up your skin and muscles by strengthening them. It mainly targets the connective tissue of the lower body area such as your hips, pelvis and lower spine.
What is the purpose of Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is all about focusing on our joints and keeping them flexible. When exercising, our connective tissues shrink-wrap our joints. These are the norms and usual practice of yoga. By participating in Yin Yoga, your joints will be kept agile and moist. Yin Yoga also emphasizes on charkas, breathing exercises, yoga postures and meditation.
What are the benefits of Ananda Yoga?
As yoga involves different types of movements and postures, Asanas typically helps to improve your flexibility and strength.
