Eka’s first touch with yoga was in 2009, when she needed a mechanic to cope with work related stress. At the beginning, it felt more of a chore to go for her once a week class at the Community Club, but after a while she didn’t realise that she kept signing up for the next batch and load of batches afterwards. The last 5 years she had been in different jobs and going through stages in life but one thing stays consistent – herself and her yoga time.
Having injuries in early 2015 made Eka quit her job and focus on her recovery. Finally at the end of the same year, she plucked the courage to take the 200 hours Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training. She has witnessed the benefit yoga in her life, physically and mentally; and it would be a dream comes true if she can share that gift of yoga to others.
